CO-ORDINATING BOARD FOR B.Ed SEMESTER
COURSE
-
The university shall
constitute a co – ordinating Board in
the beginning of every academic year
with 5 principals and 2 Experienced
Teacher Education of Colleges of
Education as members of the Board based
on seniority – cum- rotation and the
chairman of the P.G Department of
Education, Bangalore University as its
chairman, with a view to bring about
uniformity of standards in marks
pertaining to internal assessments of
both theory and practicum parts. The
principal of the visiting college shall
be co – opted if he / she is not already
a member of the board. The membership of
such Principal is limited to his / her
college.

The co – ordination Board
shall visit at the end of each semester
and scrutinise Internal Assessment
done by the concerned college. The Board
shall have powers to go through any
records or test answers scripts
pertaining to internal assessments and
after scrutinising the same, it shall
have the power to modify the internal
assessments marks in case where fair
assessments is lacking. The college
shall make available all records of
internal assessments and all particulars
of the assignments and their valuation
to the board for review. The board shall
conduct interviews with students
selected at random in a college to
obtain authentic information about their
assignments.

The quorum for the co –
ordinating Board shall be five members
including the chairman. The
decisions of the Board shall be final on
all colleges of Education and are
binding.

The principal of the
colleges of Education shall send the
consolidated marks list after
incorporating the modification of marks
suggested by the Board through the
chairman of the co–ordinating
Board, who shall scrutinise the list and
forward the same to the register
(Evaluation)

All colleges of Education
shall follow the same pattern of
internal assessment procedure as decided
by the co-ordinating Board.
